Bayangol Hotel recently completed major renovations to the hotel and dining rooms. In January of 2010, the Bayangol Restaurant was renovated. In February and March of 2010, many of our rooms and public spaces in the hotel were renovated. All rooms on floors 11 and 12 of Tower B were completely refurbished. The deluxe rooms throughout the hotel were similarly refurbished. New doors and electronic locks will be installed throughout the hotel by the end of this year. Our business rooms have new computers and new wallpaper. Our beauty salon and fitness room were renovated in April of 2010. In the month of May, we started to install flat screen televisions in 120 rooms and air conditioners in 100 rooms. We hired a landscape architect firm to upgrade the gardens and parking area around the hotel. We know these improvements will enhance your experience at Bayangol Hotel.

Mongolia’s capital city Ulaanbaatar was the site for an annual international Marathon, held for the first time on 5 June 2010. The Mongolian Olympic Committee and the Ar Mongol Travel Group were co-organizers and co-operated with the Associations of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) in order to stage the inaugural International Mongolia Marathon. This event opened Genghis Khan’s ancient Mongolia to international runners seeking new running experiences. The marathon not only involved running, but also special prizes and surprises with authentic Mongolian style. Bayangol Hotel provided overnight accommodations and meals for the runners, including a pre-run breakfast at 5:15am on the day of the race.
