Introduction

Bayangol Hotel has always played a significant role in the Mongolian tourism industry.  In 1964, we started building our 200 room hotel in the former workers’ district.  In 1994, the hotel was awarded 3-Star status and was operating 400 beds and five restaurants (450 seat International Restaurant, 100 seat Mongolian Restaurant, 60 seat Wine House Fine Dining Restaurant, 100 seat Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant, and 100 seat Casablanca Cafe & Bar). In June of 2003, the hotel obtained its 4-Star status from the Mongolian Ministry of Infrastructure and Tourism Authority, and has been operating as such ever since.
